Description
In this full day workshop, Dorah Fine will guide you through developing both your vocal technique and your acting methods for voice over. You’ll build an understanding of your instrument through vocal production, health, and placement, while exploring how acting methods support grounded, believable performances. • Voice Methods: Learn how to use and care for your instrument with greater awareness, focusing on vocal production, health, placement, range, and sustainability. Build consistency in how your voice and body work together, supporting clear, repeatable choices in performance while maintaining long-term vocal health and ease. • Acting Methods for Voice Over Performance: Explore how physicality, emotional connection, and visualization work together to support grounded, believable acting within voice performance. Learn how to clearly understand your character, relationships, and circumstances so your work feels specific and connected. • Applied Scene Work: Put these methods into practice using scenes from animation and video games, with direction and feedback to refine your choices and strengthen your performance. Through guided work and practical application, you’ll continue developing both your vocal instrument and your acting methods as they apply to voice over performance.

AGE REQUIREMENT: Workshops are designed exclusively for individuals aged 18 and older to ensure a focused and mature learning environment. GOOGLE CLASSROOM REQUIREMENTS: 1. All participants must join the Google Classroom for this IN STUDIO Workshop 2. You will receive an email a few days prior to the start date containing a link to join the Google Classroom - join it right away. This platform will serve as the central hub for all course-related information, homework assignments (including selecting copy), and materials. 3. If you are having issues joining the classroom, We suggest joining with an email ending in @gmail.com 4. Attendees must bring a Google Classroom-capable smart device to the studio. While a tablet or laptop is strongly recommended, a smartphone will do. ALL SALES ARE FINAL. NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES. RESCHEDULING POLICY (7 days before session start): You may reschedule your booking up to 7 days before session start. If there are no current dates for your workshop to reschedule to, you are eligible to receive a session credit for the workshop redeemable up to one year of your original purchase date.
