Discover the fundamentals of voice acting in this full-day workshop at Bang Zoom! Studios in Burbank, CA. Voice actor/director Dorah Fine will introduce you to the basics of acting and equip you with essential skills to explore the world of voice-over in a real-world environment. What you'll learn: The basics of acting that bring characters to life. Develop your vocal abilities with essential breathing and vocal techniques. Gain hands-on experience working with microphones in a professional studio environment. Understand ADR/Dubbing techniques specifically used in anime production. You'll get to dub scenes from actual anime projects courtesy of Bang Zoom! Crafted for complete beginners, including those without any acting or voice-over training, this class is a perfect starting point for anyone interested in pursuing voice acting. With over 20 years as a performing arts educator, Dorah will provide you with a solid foundation for your next steps in your voice acting journey. For Adults 18 & Up Minors ages 16 and 17 May take this course, Parent/Guardian must purchase and enroll, and and fill the section of Preferred name with thier child’s accompanied by the child’s birthdate. Parent/Guardian must be present at the studio. Parent/Guardian will stay in the lobby area, while the child will take the course in studio independently.

Bookings Policy

COURSE POLICY: ALL SALES FINAL and non-trasferable Cancellations: Because your registration potentially prevents someone else from attending, we do not offer refunds for cancellations within 72 hours before the start time of the training event. You will be charged as if you attended the event. To cancel your course booking, log into your account, and Select “my bookings” in the account menu. You can cancel your booking session there. You will receive a session credit for a future session of the course on your account ONLY if the cancellation is more than 72 hours prior to the course starts AND there is a student available to take your spot (i.e. someone on the waitlist, or you personally arrange to have someone take your spot.) VIRTUAL COACHING POLICY: ALL SALES FINAL Cancelations: You must cancel at least 72 hours prior to session start time in order to receive a session credit back on your account for a future use. To cancel and reschedule your appointment, log into your account and select “my bookings” in the menu. There you can cancel and/or reschedule. No-Shows and Cancellations within the 72 hour window prior to start will be charged for the full session fee.
