This course is designed to simulate a real world remote anime dubbing session from your home studio! Some Cool things about the Workshop: - Gain insight into Bang Zoom!'s particular remote ADR for anime process. - You will be working with a Bang Zoom Engineer and ADR Director Tony Oliver throughout the course -Class with begin with individual audio tests from your home studio to Bang Zoom over Source Nexus. -Tony will discuss best practices and tips when dubbing from home. -You will work with scripts and sessions from anime that Bang Zoom! has worked on - Students will have the opportunity to dub 1-2 Anime Scenes of their choosing! BE SURE THAT YOU MEET ALL THE TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS BEFORE SIGNING UP FOR THIS WORKSHOP. These can be found on our Policies & Guidelines Page. RESCHEDULING POLICY (72 hours before session start): If you cancel your booking up to 72 hours before session start, you will receive a session credit for the workshop redeemable up to one year of your original purchase date. CANCELATION POLICY: If you cancel your booking within 72 hours of session start and want to receive a session credit, there is a 10% rebooking fee (of the full price of the workshop). Please communicate through the chat box on the website. NO SHOW POLICY: No Refunds or Session Credits available. AGE REQUIREMENT: Workshops are designed exclusively for individuals aged 18 and older to ensure a focused and mature learning environment. GOOGLE CLASSROOM REQUIREMENTS: 1. All participants must join the Google Classroom for this workshop. 2. You will receive a confirmation email containing a link to join the Google Classroom - join it right away. This platform will serve as the central hub for all course-related information, homework assignments (including selecting copy), zoom & source nexus links, and materials. 3. If you are having issues joining the classroom, We suggest joining with an email ending in @gmail.com HYBRID WORKSHOP IN-STUDIO ATTENDEES: Must bring a ZOOM and GOOGLE CLASSROOM-capable device. Using a device other than a smartphone is strongly recommended so classmates can interact over Zoom. ONLINE REMOTE WORKSHOP ATTENDEES: 1. YOUR RECORDING SPACE MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS: a. MICROPHONE & AUDIO INTERFACE: Use an XLR mic & audio interface or a USB mic with gain control. b. HEADPHONES: Required at all times to avoid echo and feedback. c. SCREENS: Ideally, use two screens or one very large screen. d. KEYBOARD AND MOUSE: These should also be in your recording space. e. VIDEO CAMERA & LIGHT SOURCE: Ensure you have a camera and proper lighting so the instructor can see your face clearly. 2. COMPUTER PERFORMANCE: Ensure your computer can handle multiple applications simultaneously. 3. INTERNET CONNECTION: A strong internet connection (Ethernet preferred) with at least 15 Mbps upload and 150 Mbps download. Test your connection at speedtest.net. TERMS: It’s the participant’s responsibility to meet all technical requirements and avoid technical difficulties. Minor troubleshooting that can be resolved quickly may be accommodated, but major issues due to not meeting the requirements will not be.
