Virtual Courses

Be Prepared! 


  1. Join the GOOGLE CLASSROOM by clicking the link provided in the confirmation email for the course. (Zoom meeting info, class assignments and materials will be posted in the class stream)

  2. Download the Zoom app 

  3. Webcam & Light Source: So our instructor can see your face clearly. 

  4. Headphones: Students must wear headphones at all times in order to avoid echo and feedback. 

  5. Microphone: Please do not use the built-in microphone on your device. A headset microphone will do, a USB or XLR microphone is best. 


  • DO join the Google Classroom as soon as enroll in class

  • DO answer Google Classroom stream questions and complete assignments as soon as you receive them

  • DO use the same email address for your AiVA, Google, & Zoom Accounts

  • DO make sure your face is lit. 

  • DO be prepared to move (such as standing, moving arms, etc.).

  • DO check the minimum computer and internet system requirements for Zoom 

  • Do arrive 15 minutes early to class start. (We lock our meetings at class start and latecomers will not be admitted and will be charged as if they attended.)

  • DO have everything set up on your computer correctly before class start. We recommend using this guide

  • DON'T share your Zoom meeting ID and passwords and Google Classroom links

  • DON'T record the zoom meeting. (Audio and Video Watermarks are enabled.)

Cancellation Policy

All Sales are Final

If you are unable to attend a training event, you are responsible to inform us via email of your cancellation at


Because your registration potentially prevents someone else from attending, we do not offer refunds for cancellations within 72 hours before the start time of the training event. You will be charged as if you attended the event.



To receive credit on your account towards future training events with Adventures in Voice Acting,  the following  steps are required: 

  1. Email  notifying us you cannot attend at least 72 hours prior to the start time of the training event  

  2. There is another student available to take your spot:

  • If there is a student on the waitlist, or

  •  You personally arrange someone to take your place


We will issue refunds on a case by case basis under certain extenuating circumstances such as emergencies etc. 

*No refunds or exchanges for Virtual Courses

Be Considerate! 

Please stay at home if you are sick with respiratory symptoms (cough, congestion, sneezing, etc.). If you are not well, please notify us via TEXT & EMAIL to cancel your reservation. We will be in touch about making up the class as soon as you recover

Be considerate to your fellow classmates- come to class odor free!

While using soap and wearing deodorant are essential, please do not use strong fragrances such as cologne or perfume, as some of your classmates may be allergic. 

Students presenting strong odors will be asked to leave the studio, and will be welcome back as soon as they are odor free.


For Educational Purposes Only

  • Personal audio or video recording of any sort is NOT PERMITTED at any Adventures in Voice Acting workshop, class or any other event. 

  • We have been granted special permission to use scripts, copy and ADR sessions for training purposes only. 

  • We cannot provide recordings of your work in the Intro to Voice Acting, AiVA Workshop A, AiVA Workshop B, ADR Workouts, or Virtual courses.

  • To obtain recordings of your work in select classes, you must provide your own USB flash drive, with your name clearly labeled (directly on the drive or connected to the drive)  and give it to the Engineer BEFORE the start of class. Recordings of your work  are available in Character Voice Acting 101,(Sessions 3, 4, & 5 only), Character  Voice Acting 102, Character Voice Acting 103, ImproVOlogue Workouts, and Getting Out of Your Head (Session 4 only). 

  • Personal recording of Virtual courses is strictly prohibited.  (Monitored by audio and video watermarks.)
